Description
a unique helmet that is special on its own!
this helmet has the name of the owner writen inside : officer Hintzpeter
on the inside of the helmet is a dome stamp visible, it was hard to get it on the photo, with the normal eye its more visible, but the stamp is a FLAK batterie 11 marking.
A Heer decal is visible underneath the period added black paint with feldgrau underneath onthe left and right side is a small swastika scratched, the chinbelt is 1938
the liner is in ok condition a size 50 (stamp visible)
helmet is marked ET64 and batch number 3642
a helmet in this configuration/ setup is hard to find a unique piece
could it be this unit?
Formed 26.8.39 in Königsberg with 1. – 4. Batterien.
Moved to Stettin-Altdamm in 10.40(?), but returned to Königsberg in 8.41(?).
1941/42 converted to schwere Flak-Ersatz-Abteilung 11.
In 6.42 divided into:
- Flak-Ersatz-Abteilung 11 in Königsberg
- Flak-Ausbildungs-Abteilung 11 in Königsberg (soon renamed Flak-Abteilung 661)
Disbanded 2.45(?).

- 8.39 – 10.40 in Königsberg under Luftgau-Kommando I
- 10.40 – 8.41 in Stettin-Altdamm under Kommandeur der Flakersatzabteilungen beim Luftgau III
