chance is this helmet has been used as a gravemarker, but considering the condition it has been recovered closely after, the liner looks like to contain traces of blood?
or its from placing it as a marker
it has letters written on it,KHUN THUN? unsure what excactly is written but chance is that it was the name of the Soldier burried there
the luftwaffe decal is clearly visible, the liner mostly in place altho damaged as stated above for reasons
a unique piece that has not been messed with and you wont find a helmet like this again
